How to decide
Bring them if you ski them every year
- Bring your own if they are tuned for you, if you ski more than five days or if your airline includes sports equipment in your fare.
- Hire if you ski one week a year, if the children are growing or if you want to try different skis depending on the snow.
- Bring your boots even if you hire skis: they take little room in a boot bag and save the most uncomfortable part of hiring.
- For the transfer, every ski bag or board bag counts as one item and is added as special luggage, with its price shown before you pay.

On arrival
Collect your gear the evening you arrive
Hire shops in the ski villages open in the evening during the season. If you land in the morning or early afternoon, you will arrive in time to collect skis and lift pass the same day; the first-day planner works out your arrival time. Book the hire online and give the shop your arrival time.
If you fly without equipment, a short stop at the shop on the way to the hotel can be arranged; tell us when you book.
Skis, boots and suitcases
What vehicle do I need?
Count everyone and every bag. Ski bags, snowboards and big suitcases are one item each; two cabin bags or two boot bags count as one. The boot fills up as you add them, and the price comes live from our booking engine.

Frequently asked questions
Do ski bags cost extra in the transfer?
Yes. They are added as special luggage, with the price shown before you pay, because they need a bigger vehicle or more space.
Do you sell lift passes or ski hire?
No. We only do the transfer. Lift passes are sold by the resorts and hire by the shops.
